We are 2K Mocap - a lean, efficient motion capture studio that produces mocap, audio, and video assets for our developers and clients across two motion-capture stages. We work closely with developers and artists to acquire mocap data, audio, and video assets. What We Need
The Motion Capture Producer will be a leader on the Production team in overseeing every facet of the production process across all 10+ projects. From leading pre-production meetings to providing detailed financial reports, the Mocap Producer will be involved in the careful coordination and organization of a highly complex production environment. The Producer will take a front-facing role with projects, working in tandem with the Associate Producer to efficiently share duties and play to their strengths. They will maintain a mastery of the production requirements of each department, as well as the entire Motion Capture pipeline from acquisition to delivery. They will work closely with the Motion Capture Operations Manager to develop industry-leading production practices, owning and iterating processes within the studio. The Motion Capture Producer must be highly collaborative, diligently leading the Mocap team to provide outstanding production and customer service to the game developers.
What You Will Do
- Manage and lead multiple projects or franchises simultaneously at different stages of development from concept to completion while acting as the project’s champion
- Act as the point person for communication between internal departments and the developer teams— ensuring clear, concise communication between all parties
- Assist the Operations Manager with managing the Mocap Production Assistants, monitoring progress and accuracy of their tasks
- Collect, organize, and manage material sets for distribution to various internal and external parties. Including but not limited to call sheets, shoot reports, agendas, and meeting notes
- Create and populate production reports and ensure all departments receive the up-to-date information they require
- Lead in defining and improving production processes and workflows within the studio and with developer partners
- Collaborate with all Mocap departments, assisting in taking stock of their initial needs for incoming projects, and identifying what our deliverables are for the length of each project
- Track all mocap shoot expenses, compiling detailed Actual Reports at the end of each shoot block for the developers
- Identify specific tech needs going into each production, assisting the Tech team as appropriate in delivering on these requests
- Coordinate with Legal on vetting any necessary department-related contracts
- Initiate Purchase Orders as needed for projects
- Lead meetings/functions as needed or requested, ensuring detailed notes/minutes are taken, and disseminating as appropriate
- Take lead on following-up on action items, ensuring we’re adhering to our Production Timelines as closely as possible
- Collaborate with department leads on presentation creation and support
- Oversee, manage and liaise with internal and external resources to meet production schedules and help maintain a coherent creative vision throughout the entire development life cycle

Bonus Points
- Experience with AAA titles preferred
- Prior work experience in a production environment, such as video games, film, or animation a plus
- 2+ years experience in internal or external game development
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
