JOB TITLE: Motion Capture Coordinator
LOCATION: Brno, Czech Republic
FUNCTION: Production
REPORTS TO: Producer
CONTRACT: Permanent
What We Need:
The Motion Capture Coordinator will be assisting the animation department in multiple areas, such as organization of the Motion Capture, coordination of internal data and administrative work. This role directly reports to the Producer.
This position offers a unique opportunity to cooperate with developers aas well as an opportunity to support their efforts to achieve a breathtaking gaming experience at the very edge of the possibilities of our target platforms (PC, XONE, and PS4).
What You Will Do:
- Organization support for Motion Capture and Animation team
- Communication and ensuring smooth cooperation with external actors, internal animators, designers, production.
- Cover needs for shooting at Mocap (booking Mocap, refreshment, administration, etc.).
- Assisting with flow of information and Mocap data.
- Communicating changes with the producer or leads and updating information in the tracking system.
- Coordination of internal data such as tracking requests for Mocap, collecting of assets lists, tracking of files delivered from Mocap for Animators for further processing.
Who We Think Will Be A Good Fit:
- Perfect written and spoken Czech and English.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (timekeeping, scheduling, etc.).
- Ability to keep clear, transparent and trackable email communication.
- Good proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Ability to work well even under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Interest in developing video games.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of some tracking / scheduling tool (Hansoft, Jira, Shotgun, Trello, etc.).
- Experience with animation such as Maya / MotionBuilder.
- Basic knowledge of some file management system/version control system (Perforce, SVN, GIT, etc.).
- Basic animation understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, audio-visual media related preferred.
- Experience working with external outsource art teams.
