Who are Mission Designers at Liquid Swords

The Mission Designer that we’re looking for reveals and ties the story together on a technical level. This role doesn’t involve writing, but it is heavily focused on the story. We’re creating a game filled with emergent narratives, and we need a spider to weave together the web of different teams that are bringing it to life.

Your role in the bigger picture

You will ensure that the game’s development pulls in the same direction, guaranteeing that the game’s story and the player’s experience converge.

You are at the helm of our emergent narratives. Fluently wrangling game mechanics and dialog systems to conceive a living, breathing, and reactive world. Through the skilled coordination of scene and settings, style and tone, character and characterization, you constantly strive to reveal the story and find the fun in a collaborative, iterative fashion.
