Infrastructure Engineer (Linux)

Xsolla team is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (Linux) to join the technical support team. We need a professional who knows how and loves hosting and Internet providers, supporting multiple servers on Linux, to participate in the development and improvement of infrastructure.

- Automation of administrative tasks;

- Monitoring the status of services and prompt solution of emerging problems;

- Support for multiple servers on Linux;

- Participation in the development and improvement of internal infrastructure;

- Implementation, support, and development of infrastructure monitoring tools;

- Implementation/development of internal automation tools;

- Maintaining infrastructure documentation;

- Interaction with developers, DB administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects.

- Linux OS administration experience;

- Understanding the principles of basic network services and protocols (TCP/IP stack), understanding the principles of DNS/DHCP services

- Experience in administration of popular services: databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (Nginx, Apache);

- Programming experience in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.);

- VMware Hypervisor Administration Experience;

- Experience in managing stacks of ELK, Graphite/Grafana;

- At least 2 years of experience as a Linux Administrator.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services;

- Experience with active Cisco network equipment;

- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of information security;

- Developed communication skills;

- An idea of what Agile is.

Responsibility, desire and willingness to grow and develop, sociability, teamwork experience, remote work experience.

A big plus will be the experience of working on large projects with a significant personal contribution to them.

We are interested in specialists with experience in hosting and Internet providers, in the banking sector and in the field of payment solutions (of course, in technical positions).

And not interested long-term experience in technical support (for example, 1 or 2 line support), maintenance of office equipment, PC setup or Windows systems support.
