Mid/Senior Social Media Specialist (Marketing & Communications)

We are looking for a Senior Social Media Specialist to take charge of our social media strategy, driving audience growth and fostering an engaged community across platforms such as Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other members of the Marketing & Communications Team to create impactful and engaging platform-specific content, grow our player base, and build meaningful connections with gamers worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the studio’s goals and drive measurable growth and engagement across all major platforms,

• Brainstorm, plan, and deliver engaging, platform-specific content, including posts, videos, and campaigns that resonate with our audience,
• Organize and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring effective cross-team collaboration and timely delivery of campaigns, updates, and milestones,
• With the help of the team, actively manage conversations, respond to player comments, and foster a positive, loyal, and engaged community,
• Lead social media initiatives for key announcements, game releases, and updates while coordinating with internal teams to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies,
• Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, evaluate campaign success, and implement improvements based on insights.
• Stay on top of platform trends and gaming news to create content that resonates with the 11 bit studios current and future audiences,
• Actively address challenges, find creative solutions, and maintain a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine love for video games and the gaming industry,

• At least 3 years of experience managing social media for gaming studios or related industries,

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines,

• A proactive thinker with a knack for brainstorming creative ideas and crafting engaging social media content,
• Ability to plan ahead and execute campaigns that drive platform growth and engagement,

• Experience with social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to decision-making,

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
