Medical Team Lead

As Level Ex continues to grow we’re hiring our first Medical Team Lead. Reporting to the Executive Producer, you’ll bring deep medical knowledge and leadership to the Level Ex medical support team. A highly collaborative role, you’ll work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in Business Development, Sales, Production, Medical, and Development teams.
What You’ll Be Doing with Us
- Lead the day-to-day activities of Level Ex’s medical team, contributing to our internal platform development and client solutions
- Conducting needs assessments/analyses, reviewing clinical research, and ongoing trends in medical simulation and facilitating team members in their research when needed
- Interpret, distill, and communicate medical content to the development team on an ongoing basis
- Lead the day to day curation, management, and optimization of the company’s clinical content featured in its mobile applications
- Work closely with medical and product leads including production to monitor essential steps within the project plan and resolve or elevate issues that affect the timeline, scope, or budget
- Work in association with the Medical Director to review product utilization and content metrics to optimize content strategy and content plans
- Collaborate with our group of physician advisors, clinical experts, and third-party content partners to gather ongoing medical information in conjunction with product and marketing teams
- Manage CME partnerships and CME internal operations to develop and certify CME content on a month to month basis
- Attend relevant educational and clinical conferences for intelligence gathering to inform content strategy
- Responsible for planning, developing, and providing oversight of clinical content across all specialties based on company needs
- Responsible for the short term and long term goals of the medical team, including strategic development and providing support as needed
- Provide and coordinate ongoing medical educational needs to the medical team based on company priorities
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced degree in the medical/science field required (MD, DO, PsyD, Ph.D., PharmD, MS, PA, RN)
- 5+ years working in the medical field in a related position in a US medical education company, medical publisher, academic institution, hospital, and/or medical device/pharma manufacturer
- Previous experience analyzing and interpreting clinical and scientific data in depth
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of continuing medical education program development for allopathic and osteopathic medicine
- Strong leadership skills and ability to adapt to diverse interpersonal styles
