Do you have a passion for the Gaming Industry, Fintech or Ecommerce? Are you someone who likes engaging with business leaders and brainstorming strategies to deliver innovative technologies globally? We are looking for an experienced Media Strategist to shape the media strategy with sound research, analysis and measurement at Xsolla.

This position can be fully remote, but you must be located in CA, NC, TX or WA.

The chosen candidate will partner with our product and business teams to understand, analyze and prioritize the right media plans for Xsolla. This person will also help develop and inform our internal strategy, and communicate that strategy to internal teams and stakeholders.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must be a strong creative and strategic thinker as well as have deep industry and advanced media knowledge. Ideal candidates possess strong customer engagement and relationship building skills, excellent facilitation & storytelling skills, an insatiable desire to learn, and a passion for our business, products and the gaming industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee media acquisition campaigns for Xsolla, globally
  • Manage unique digital engagements and digital events with influencers
  • Lead efforts on collaborations with various media outlets including but not limited to podcasts, influencers, networks and content syndication partners.
  • Work with various teams across the organization to deliver key projects and initiatives for Xsolla
  • Create projects aimed at achieving specific KPIs in terms of engagement, impressions, acquisition and community growth.
  • Manage and collaborate with outside media buying agency (based in LA)
  • Help to develop, execute and report on innovative media strategies and programs
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of all media trends and corresponding impact on Xsolla's business
  • Liaise with internal key stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns and plans that align with specific brand and business goals, with a focus on multi-media strategy and execution

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Media, Advertising, Marketing (or similar emphasis)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated progressive experience
  • Prior experience in tech, FinTech or the gaming industry
  • Experience working with comprehensive strategies for media acquisition
  • Previous media planning and strategy experience either in-house or at an agency
  • Solid grasp of B2B vs B2C and the differences in approach to user acquisition
  • Proficient in various analytics programs and the ability to read and understand data (Media Analytics Tools such Google, Facebook various Social Media Analytics tools)
  • Analytical as well as creative/conceptual thinker
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with international campaigns
  • Connected in the field of Media Strategy
