Senior Social Media Manager

Remote (All locations) or Seattle, Washington, United States

As a Media Manager at Rec Room, you will oversee the end-to-end social media strategy and presence across all channels. We are seeking someone with an eye for aesthetics and passion to help us expand and maintain our online community. This is a multifaceted role that will require high levels of cross-team collaboration and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own Rec Room’s social strategy including TikTok, IG, Youtube etc. Facilitate cross-team communication to coordinate operational needs and implement strategy
• Serve as social analytics lead & report on analytics. Manage communication and educate broader team to help drive quarterly goals, grow channel benchmarks & make recommendations to surpass goals (prepare monthly dashboard, compile metrics from various team leads)
• Manage owned social media channels growth and maintenance; focus on engagement in collaboration with creative and product team as well as acquisition in partnership with the brand & influencer teams
• Drive activation and implementation of integrated tentpole campaigns across digital owned and operated channels
• Manage, mentor and motivate members of the Media team in order to encourage their professional development while providing supervision and guidance
• Support Product Marketing team on Go To Market planning and execution of key campaign tactics

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years marketing or brand marketing experience managing integrated marketing programs across digital channels including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc. as well as community platforms like Discord, and Reddit
• Strong strategic vision and creative skills balanced by a highly analytical, hands on and detail-oriented approach
• Experience with cross-functional relationship building skills to achieve company’s goals
• Project management and planning skills, showcasing ability to push and meet project deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments.
• A constant desire to learn, improve, and help others improve
