Media Fluency Trainer
Job Description
The Communication Team at CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly energetic, camera-savvy specialist to help elevate the studio’s level of quality when it comes to public speaking and internal & external presentations — as well as prepare and media-train the many talented game developers to better communicate their craft. The person will also be responsible for maintenance, updates, and further development of communication guidelines for the entire studio.
The Media Fluency Trainer reports directly to the Global Communication Lead and is part of the core Communication Team responsible for all CD PROJEKT RED brands and communication activities. This is a full-time, specialist position at the Warsaw HQ of CD PROJEKT RED with no possibility of permanent remote work (after the pandemic ends).
Qualifications
The perfect candidate for this position demonstrates:
- Experience working with the business-end of the camera, i.e. hosting public events or parties, starring in TV shows or films, TED Talks, or equivalent experience.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the principles and training techniques of proper voice emission and body language for public speakers.
- Proven track record and skillset in preparing public-facing decks (Powerpoint or Keynote) and companion scripts for public presentations.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Polish (the majority of your work will be in English; you need to be very comfortable with the language).
- Genuine care for teaching others to better communicate the passions that drive them — this is not a spokesperson role; the limelight will be on your trainee, not you.
Nice-to-have abilities and skills:
- Advanced knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe CC or similar) and its practical application for presentation deck creation (animations, visual assets, etc.).
- Knowledge of the video game industry
If you think you’re the person we’re looking for, shoot us an email with your CV and a short video covering letter (up to 5 minutes long) where you describe in English why you think you’re a good candidate for the role. You can also attach a personal portfolio detailing the highlights of your public appearances.
Hope to see you soon!
