Job Description
As a Material Handler, Stockroom, you are responsible for replenishing product that has been received into its assigned stocking location, and/or directly to the manufacturing cell, processing, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of all customer orders. Monthly Cycle Count process for HQ and fulfillment centers, inventory accuracy for direct / indirect material. Support 7S and Safety Committee initiatives. Kitting of subassembly materials to support internal build initiatives.
Current position is to support 2nd shift initiatives, you will need to go into one of our offices daily in Plantation, Florida and work during our second shift, 11:00am to 8pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Verify, count, receive and document all products received in SAP system and or Material Receipt Tool.
- Stock product in the designated location, using FIFO.
- Assist purchasing and/or finance personnel in researching receiving discrepancies.
- Complete Inventory transactions as required
- Replenishment of inventory to support manufacturing cells.
- Report inventory discrepancies and/or out of stock items immediately.
- Process, pick, stage, and ship all customer orders.
- Pick, pack and stage all subassembly shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all warehouse storage areas.
- Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems.
- Perform cycle counting as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Manage pack out process for ML2 units
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with inventory management
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP system in a manufacturing environment, SAP prior experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with other employees and external parties.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Able to perform mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
