Be a force multiplier with your legendary creativity and cunning eye for detail. Do you geek out on technical pipelines, end to end character modeling, and texturing workflows? This job is about working with our internal 3D Character development team to create high quality materials for the Diablo franchise. We're looking for an extraordinarily hard-working person to come spend some quality time in Sanctuary and descend into the deep dark dungeons of Diablo with us! Your experience in handling technical character art materials will help make a lot of appealing content.

Your responsibilities will range from creating materials in a collaborative environment to working in complex 2D and 3D pipelines for the Diablo world to make our Characters look as amazing as possible. You’ll also be helping build an internal library of materials and utilities.

Work alongside Leads and Character Artists to collaborate and share a vision of creating the next iteration of a game industry defining franchise.

Stuff You Are Familiar With

You may wonder what it will take to be successful in this role. Work through technical art production, modeling, texturing, rendering, and UV unwrapping workflows. As well as work closely with the character team, technical artists, and the production team to determine material needs and creating textures based on those needs.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.
