Mass Payments Specialist (Contract)

Epic Games is looking for a detail oriented and efficient Mass Payment Specialist to join our Transaction Services team as a contractor. The person in this role will be responsible for the payouts in three specific program groups: Marketplace Sellers, Affiliates, and Competitive. They'll work closely with the program’s lead to ensure all payouts are accurate and successful. The ideal candidate should have experience in Accounts Payable, supplier data maintenance, and/or account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Create monthly Domestic Payout Report, for team lead review
• Create monthly International Payout Report, for team lead review
• Track and manage payee information to ensure accuracy
• Check for financial discrepancies (data integrity, payout anomalies, Missing Tax Info, unexplained growth, etc.)
• Import Domestic payment information into ERP
• Import International payment information via bank file
• Process approved monthly payments (1,000+)
• Track and provided status report for monthly payments
• Reconcile returned payments
• Assist with payment inquiries (internal and external)
• Process transfers, withholdings, and adjustments, as directed by reviewers
• Calculated and Identify funding amounts for monthly payments, for each entity
• Check for event specific payout requirements (state tax withholding, country specific payee restrictions, etc.)
• Process manual ad hoc payments, when needed

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

• (Required) 2+ year Accounting experience (AP, Staff Accounting, Bookkeeping preferred)
• (Required) Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Be able to identify variances and provide solutions
• Strong communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
• Familiarity with GSuite, with a focus on Sheets and GDrive
• Strong organizational skills
