Marketing and Live Performance Director (H/F) – 1492 Studio

Job Description
As Marketing & Live Performance Director, you will lead all Marketing projects related to our live games with a strong business centric orientation, by addressing topics such as UA optimization, managing budget on social networks but also on our trademarketing actions, determining the best and profitable investments for the growth of the Studio on its markets.
Reporting the Studio Manager, you are also playing a leading role in the relationship between the Studio and the teams of Ubisoft Mobile HQ experts (editorial, sales, BI, product management teams , UA etc.).
You are also in charge of a team of 2 people (a community manager and a junior marketing project manager).

In detail, your main missions will be to:
- Analyze our live game performance via store sales and marketing key KPIs to optimize the action plans with the partners and support teams. Be responsible of optimizing the results vs objectives and share the relevant info in a synthetic way with internal departments (studio and HQ mobile) to make sure everybody is aligned.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to optimize the calendar of events and adapt the budget to support them accordingly. Analyze the business impact of all his actions and report it monthly to the Studio steering committee.
- Collaborate with the HQ Mobile teams to optimize the user acquisition at large (mobile perf UA, branding, influence, assets briefing and ASO, partnerships like app stores’ relationships among others). Conduct the growth strategy in that area and drive the changes on a daily basis.
- Define the segmentation of the audience in coordination with the UX team and set up different action plans per target (marketing actions, promotions, portfolio management, in-game offers…).
- Design and follow an effective Customer support workflow, where customer issues and feedback are considered and addressed.
- Share expertise and plans with the “international teams” (China, Canada for ex) to optimize the development of the brand and the results outside of Europe.
- Participate in the diversification strategy : merchandising, shows ….
- Recommend improvements and new ideas, identifying the market trends and competitors’ best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience (5-7 years minimum) in Marketing and / or Business, ideally acquired in a similar industry (digital, mobile, e-commerce, entertainment etc.), based on an F2P Business Model.
- Have already managed substantial budgets and know how to identify business opportunities and strategic marketing investments to develop our market presence and maximize our revenues.
- Strong analysis and synthesis skills: monitoring of the main perf KPIs, monitoring of ROI, etc. From daily datas, you are able to identify the main trends and you can clearly explain complex issues. Knowledge of Tableau is a big plus.
- Management: create a favorable working environment for your team to grow and develop their skills.
- Fluent in English
- You have an entrepreneurial mind and want to grow the business for which you are responsible.
- You have strong negotiation skills, you have a taste for challenge!
- You know or at least are curious about the world of narrative games like the ones we produce.
- You have good communication skills and can explain your point of view as well as take into account the ones of the experts who support you on a daily basis.
