What We Need

2K has been a major console, PC and Mobile game publisher and is known for bringing amazing IP to the market. As we grow our portfolio of games, we want to use Technology to better scale how we enable the Marketing Operations teams to execute their Marketing Campaigns. The Marketing Technology Team delivers and deploy solutions for 2K Marketing teams globally across all titles. This role will include, but not be limited to a focus on mobile marketing technologies.

What You Will Do

● Understand marketing technology platforms and become a subject matter expert in accordance with industry best practices

● Own a portion of 2K Marketing’s technology stack, determining and implementing the optimal product portfolio to help our business succeed

● Fully own multiple projects simultaneously, driving success for multiple stakeholders from scoping to completion

● Employ strong project management and communication practices, setting and hitting clear goals and providing clear, timely project reporting

● Ensure thorough technical and functional research and documentation to support clear, well-informed decision making within and across teams

● Understand marketing campaign metrics and map various platforms’ (e.g. Facebook, Google Ads) metrics back to 2K’s own performance goals

● Advocate and employ the use of agile practices around business requirements, user stories, and JIRA

● Work with onshore and offshore Business, Technical, Security and Legal functions

● Provide mentorship, training, and support for marketing technology team members

Who Are You

● Minimum of 2 years in Marketing and/or Advertising Technology

● Experienced in sending data from games to Ad Platforms such Facebook and Google and understanding the setup of each.

● Experience working within the Product development life cycle either in or alongside Product Management teams

● Excellent interpersonal, communication and client management skills

● Highly organized and self-sufficient

● An analytical mind and the ability to provide solid reasoning to difficult technical problems

● Ability to communicate complex idea clearly and concisely

● Comfortable working with senior management and navigating technical conversations

● Desire to keep learning about new practices, technologies, and their impacts on our business

What Skills are Nice to Have

● Subject matter expertise on privacy changes, such as recent iOS14.5 updates, and their impact on tracking technologies

● Understanding of how SDKs are implemented in mobile games and how they send data to ad platforms and MMPs

● Familiarity with SQL and the ability to run basic queries

● Familiarity with Jira or similar work management tools

● Experience working with Facebook SDK, Firebase SDK or Adjust SDK - configuration of app events or otherwise

● Familiarity with SKAdNetwork setup and conversion value mapping for iOS Within the first 90 days: Take full ownership of at least one major Mobile Marketing Tech project and

ensure continued progress on said project. Within 180 days: Fully understand our Mobile Marketing Tech space and start to advise on industry best practices and how it impacts us. Fully own at least one additional major project; may or may not be mobile-related.
