Marketing Technology Manager

The Marketing Technology Manager works within Rockstar’s Marketing Team to manage and support the underlying technology stack used for Paid, Owned and Earned Marketing activity for all Rockstar titles.
The primary purpose of the role is to enable the Marketing Team and associated teams to continue to produce outstanding content through technology. This means leveraging technology to streamline processes, alleviate bottlenecks, provide data for meaningful insights, and optimize campaign execution every step of the way.
The Marketing Technology Manager must have a broad range of skills. The responsibilities include the ability to manage the entire technology life cycle, from interpreting needs of the business through implementation into support. This role requires understanding of Marketing / Technology platforms, and experience in managing projects, acting as the conduit between business leads and vendors.
The role requires a fast-paced approach, with a strong focus on delivery and enabling change within a creative and rapidly changing environment. You will be working in an entrepreneurial team where taking initiative and having leadership and ownership of your own ideas, strategies and projects is expected and crucial to the team’s success. You will directly see the results of your efforts reflected in the teams you’re working with, whilst working with leading edge technology and Marketing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with business owners and Senior Management to deliver against the vision and strategy of the Marketing, Community, and PR teams.
- Partner with business owners and Subject Matter Experts to define product backlog and prioritize features according to market value and business needs.
- Define the features and benefits of technology solutions and ensure they are properly communicated to all project stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technology and strategies used to support the customer experience and present findings on a regular basis.
- Research and evaluate vendors to fit identified requirements.
- Write product requirements for marketing systems that support day-to-day business needs, innovation opportunities and/or integration requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the existing solution stack, focusing on full adoption. The solutions must be fine-tuned to support the business with keen attention to continuous improvement.
- Vendor & IT relationship management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior product management & business systems analysis experience.
- Experience working with Marketing, PR and Community functions, KPI’s, etc.
- Proven ability to implement technology projects into enterprises with evidence of adoption and/or ROI.
- Knowledge of IT solutions with a foundational awareness of:
- Security
- Configuration
- Infrastructure concepts
- Business intelligence, visualization, data structures
- Be able to establish strong relationships with business and project stakeholders to ensure that business goals are met.
- Provide leadership and guidance for business leads and super users.
- Interpret business needs to solution requirements and taking initiative in identifying critical needs and possible solutions before they may even be known.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills spanning business and technical audiences.
