Position Summary

1. Sales, Marketing and Merchandising
• Assist in the delivery, placement, and development of point-of-sale materials to increase product visibility and stimulate player purchases.
• Develop customized marketing and sales programs to meet the specific needs of each retailer.
• Assist retailers in determining the most effective placement of both lottery sales products and equipment.
• Motivate retailers to increase sales through various sales and other promotional activities.
• Analyze effectiveness of retailers in their achievement of sales objectives.
2. Retailer Recruitment & Training
• Identify new retailer locations based on sales analysis, location, population, and potential for new sales.
• Coordinate and schedule on-going training to ensure sufficient knowledge of Lottery product inventory.
• Provide extensive Lottery Terminal and Suggest Sales training to all retailers to enhance the retailers' business.
3. Sales Analysis and Planning
• Collect and analyze all available sales data for all assigned retailers.
• Develop and implement measurable action plans based upon data analysis. These plans should be specific, measurable, and offer the highest potential for ROI.
• Develop customized programs to motivate all on-line and instant retailers, and manage accounts accordingly.
• Analyze promotions and the impact that the promotions have on the retailers business.
• Conduct lottery account reviews on new retailers.
4. General Responsibilities
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism in completing all responsibilities and duties.
• Develop and maintain a business relationship with all assigned Arizona Lottery retailers.
• Visit each assigned retailer on an established route call schedule coordinated and approved by the Arizona Lottery.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle per Scientific Games’ guidelines.

Qualifications

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

Skills/Abilities
• Communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing
• Proficiently navigate and use PC applications and proprietary Sales Force Automation Tool
• Establish/maintain effective working relationships
• Apply marketing & sales principles/practices
• Explain Lottery policies and procedures
• Plan, organize, and track information
• Analyze and explain statistical information
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Safely operate a company issued vehicle
