What we're looking for...
MELON is looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and execute multi-tiered marketing campaigns for a premiere metaverse experience & gaming studio, and the projects it produces. The Marketing Manager will strategize and coordinate these campaigns for the studio’s own IP projects as well as experiences for top tier brands and partners.
What you'll be doing...
- Lead the strategy for consumer-facing, multi-channel marketing campaigns for MELON (the company), MELON IP games, and MELON brand experiences
- Lead marketing campaign execution by creating and developing assets and optimizing to build brand (company + project) awareness
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aligned strategy, messaging, and scheduling
- Work with MELON publicist and leadership to develop and execute PR plans and comms for MELON (for the company, the CEO, and the president)
- Work in partnership with the development, design, and brand partnership teams to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
- Oversee day to day external communications with marketers, influencers, and publicists, ensuring that our team is creating, implementing, and monitoring engaging marketing messaging
- Monitor and manage marketing plans, scopes and budgets
- Share regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) performance updates, including KPIs, wins, learnings, and opportunities for improvement, while adjusting current and future plans per analytics
- Lead graphic design direction and initiatives for marketing, social, and promotion campaign needs
What you should have...
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or comparable Marketing Exec
- At least 3+ years’ experience working with Fortune 500 brands and/or triple A gaming studios on marketing and/or advertising campaign, with examples you can share
- Experience producing and delivering best-in-class marketing presentations for/to senior brand executives
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience working for a gaming company a plus
