This pivotal moment propelled us to expand our operations to India, starting with five passionate gamers working around a dining table in a small apartment.

Today, with offices in Oslo and Hyderabad, we serve industry-leading video game data and insights to the biggest companies worldwide, influencing millions of gaming decisions every day. The Role:
As Marketing Manager at Gameopedia, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the world sees and connects with us. You’ll be at the forefront of driving our brand presence, crafting impactful campaigns, and amplifying our story to the industry. Collaborating closely with leadership and a talented marketing team, you’ll define and execute strategies that position Gameopedia as a leader in gaming data and insights.

Your work will directly influence how we engage with global audiences, generate leads, and launch innovative products that redefine gaming experiences. Through your creativity and data-driven approach, you’ll help deliver extraordinary results, ensuring our vision of reaching a billion gamers every day becomes a reality.

What You'll Do:

Marketing Strategy Development

• Work closely with leadership to define and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives and long-term vision.
• Elevate Gameopedia’s brand across global markets, increasing visibility, credibility, and positioning.

Campaign Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote Gameopedia’s offerings, drive awareness, and engage target audiences.
• Optimize multi-channel campaigns, including social media, email, events, partnerships, and content marketing, ensuring high ROI.

Brand Building

• Lead initiatives to refine and reinforce Gameopedia’s brand voice, positioning, and narrative.
• Champion the creation of high-impact brand assets, including a refreshed website, thought leadership pieces, and creative content.

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and motivate a small team of two marketing specialists to deliver outstanding results.
• Foster a collaborative, creative environment that encourages innovation and execution excellence.

Lead Generation

• Develop and oversee lead generation strategies to support sales pipeline growth, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with lead nurturing and conversion objectives.

Partnership & Event Marketing

• Build relationships with industry players, media, and partners to strengthen Gameopedia’s market presence.

Performance Analysis

• Define KPIs for all marketing initiatives and regularly measure, analyze, and report on performance to key stakeholders.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and campaigns for greater impact.

Content Creation and Campaign Management

• Create high-quality marketing assets, such as blogs, case studies, videos, and product brochures.
• Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, adoption, and engagement.

CRM Management (HubSpot Preferred)

• Manage and optimize the company’s CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot) to support marketing campaigns, lead tracking, and customer segmentation.
• Leverage CRM analytics to provide actionable insights on campaign performance, customer engagement, and sales enablement.
• Create automated email marketing campaigns and nurture workflows to drive lead conversion and customer retention.

SEO and Digital Optimization

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize product pages, landing pages, and blog content for search engines.
• Analyze SEO performance metrics and implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure alignment between SEO goals and content marketing strategies.

Who You Are:

• Experience: 8+ years of core marketing experience, preferably in B2B or tech industries, with 2+ years leading a team.
• Skills: Proven expertise in crafting and executing end-to-end marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead small teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Execution: A hands-on executor who thrives in a start-up or fast-paced environment and balances strategy with execution.
• Data-Driven: Analytical mindset with a strong ability to measure and optimize campaign performance.
• Content Creation: Skilled in overseeing content development, including sales enablement tools, presentations, thought leadership, case studies, and brand assets.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of storytelling and delivering compelling narratives to diverse audiences.
• Tools: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other marketing platforms.
• Drive: A self-starter who takes initiative, demonstrates high agency, and consistently delivers results.
