Job Description

As Local Marketing Manager in Gameloft China team, you will work closely with our network of Product Marketing Managers and game teams, local publishing and business development teams in order to deliver best-in-class marketing strategies and creative concepts aimed at sustaining the launch and promotion of our games in the highly competitive market of free-to-play videogames for mobile.

The position is located in Beijing. You will be reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, North Asia.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing strategy for new game launch and Mega Updates in China covers Paid User Acquisition, PR communications, Co-marketing, social media channels and community engagement.
• Responsible for the game publishing in App Store (iOS) covering store communications, operations, and ASO/ASA.
• Collaborate closely with both the fellow marketing colleagues (ie, Product Marketing Managers, Global Paid UA team, PR, Global Marketing team, etc) and cross-functional stakeholders such as Product Development and Operations, Localization, Business Development, Corporate Communications, and Legal.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key business partners, including but not limited to IP licensors, iOS and Android channels, local publishing partners and drive the alignment on major marketing initiatives.
• Guide and supervise the UA budget in China. Conduct return on investment analysis on all digital marketing campaigns and apply findings to future programs.
• Provide ongoing feedback to HQ teams and game teams on business and market trends to help improve our games, performance and visibility and ensure consistency with the market and players.
• Ensure the delivery, consistency and quality of the elements required for marketing and acquisition campaigns (Store Partners, PR and Branding, Community, User Acquisition, etc.) in line with local marketing strategy and government regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of marketing experience on product marketing, digital marketing, community engagement, consumer lifecycle management, paid media strategy and management.
• Proven capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of mobile game and game industry.
• Skills for using data and analytics to drive business impact.
• Experience working on a global cross-functional team with the ability to handle complex projects.
• Mandarin native
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
