JOB PURPOSE:

Xsolla Inc. will be launching a brand new product/service for our partners and customers for our new product. We have an ambitious goal to create the largest video game brand that is NOT a video game. The right candidate is a highly creative storyteller, a gamer at heart, and has a huge appetite to be part of this insane journey.

You will be responsible for the day to day marketing execution of the holistic brand narrative and overall go to market strategy for the project's business line. The position has two major responsibilities. One is to focus on consumers, and the other is to focus on game/entertainment content creators. The person will report directly to the Marketing Director (lead) to work on specific projects that develop the brand marketing for both audiences by working closely with key stakeholders (that include influencers, consumers, game creators, publishers, etc) to ensure an extremely high quality experience. This project is a global brand and this position will primarily be responsible for North America. However, this position will also provide programs that other territories/ regions can emulate. We are looking for someone who has the entrepreneurial spirit to get things done coupled with the ability to always see the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing programs and campaigns for the project's B2C and B2B initiatives
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to develop differentiated product marketing strategy (including vision, goals, roadmap, and prioritization) for promotions
  • Provide marketing insight and guidance to Product teams, advocating for the results of the project's promotional activity and contributing positively to team culture.
  • Ensure that all marketing programs are aligned with goals, target audience, and core brand strategy for the game and aligned to the vision of the product roadmap
  • Guide successful execution of campaign and initiative development within the team - ensuring outstanding creative experiences that improve standards for marketing across the industry.
  • Drive to top-level OKRs for marketing promotions and work with partner teams to develop measurement plans, guide marketing research, and enhance the team's collective knowledge of our future audience and landscape that are set by the Marketing Director
  • Be the liaison for regional marketing managers for the project
  • Be a champion of the project's brand
  • Build relationships and create marketing materials for business development teams to pitch to their clients

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience working in consumer brand or product marketing for global services in the gaming or entertainment industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bring innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition
  • Ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans and present to key stakeholders
  • Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
  • Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
  • Proficient with analysis and design software
  • Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO
  • MBA preferred
