The NBA 2K Marketing Team is comprised of experienced and talented marketing professionals and an exceptional communications team working together and across the company to create memorable and innovative campaigns for NBA 2K’s latest offering.
What We Need:
The Marketing Manager will drive NBA 2K’s marketing strategy in the Americas and lead execution of integrated marketing efforts to launch & sustain NBA 2K products. The role will work with the Marketing Director to develop go to market plans for each market in the region and manage cross-functional teams to ensure those plans are executed effectively.
What You Will Do:
- Work with Marketing Director to build integrated marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and purchases for flagship, mobile, and arcade products
- Support Marketing Director in the development and management of top-down marketing budgets
- Take a lead role in development of paid media plan. Write media strategy, brief and manage agency through creation of full cycle media plan, in partnership with brand and performance marketing teams
- Manage day to day relationship with media agency, providing timely updates, assets & direction, and managing timelines to ensure all milestones are achieved throughout planning and execution phases
- Contribute to development of retail marketing plan in collaboration with channel marketing team. Manage day to day relationship with channel marketing team
- Liaise between media, channel and creative teams to build brand assets for paid media & retail campaigns within required timelines
- Contribute to global go to market strategies, including athlete partnerships, creative campaign and brand design
- Collaborate with brand, communications and development teams to oversee consumer and media events. Contribute to event briefs, and manage event teams to ensure effective & on budget execution of brief
- Support Marketing Director in management & mentorship of Associate Marketing Manager. Provide direction on a project basis
- Liaise with Commercial and Analytics teams to mine data and insight into consumer behaviors in each market
- Be a true expert on our products, our consumers, our competitors, and culture
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- 5+ years of marketing experience working for a consumer brand, on the brand, media and/or agency side
- Experience developing regional marketing strategies based on global brand framework
- Experience strategizing & executing paid media campaigns. Experience managing media agency from client side preferred.
- Experience strategizing & executing retail marketing campaigns
- Above average knowledge of NBA & players
- Above average knowledge of videogames.
- Ability to seamlessly integrate into existing marketing team, and build trust and credibility with product development, commercial, and other internal & external partners
- Self-starter, able to take ownership over tasks and carry them throughout to the end
