Marketing Manager - EXPORT

Job Summary:
Working within the Export Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will oversee the successful planning and execution of best in class go to market plans across all allocated products for our export markets, in particular Australia/New Zealand, Italy, Spain and the Nordics.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute effective Go to Market campaigns in coordination with the Marketing Director - Export.
- Work hand in hand alongside both internal teams (PR, influencer, social media, owned channels, trade marketing, sales) & external distribution partners to ensure all plans are co-ordinated, complementary and deliver against agreed KPIs.
- Deliver digital focussed campaigns to drive the digital revenue performance.
- Champion allocated titles both internally and externally.
- Ownership of the territory marketing budget for all allocated titles, ensuring costs are fully and accurately tracked & reported on a weekly basis.
- Work closely with the Analytics team to evaluate touch points in the customer journey, while improving tracking to measure ROI and KPIs with efficiency.
- Develop the influencer strategy in collaboration with the Influencer Relations Team and the local PR team and be up to date in the latest influencer and industry trends.
- Support and attend trade and consumer events. Take the lead where required.
- Work with media agencies to manage outstanding data-driven marketing campaigns and provide reports with insights, analysis, and learnings.
- Manage approvals of marketing activities with stakeholders.
Key Deliverables:
- Go to Market plans should:
- Deliver on product unit and revenue goals across the full lifecycle of the product
- Be data driven with defined KPIs across disciplines
- Maximise return on investment through judicious use of the marketing mix
- Stay within agreed budgets
- Be S.M.A.R.T., with specific focus on developing effective marketing metrics to gauge success and build future learnings
- Include a postmortem analysis following launch
- The Marketing Manager will be required to work effectively with stakeholders both inside and outside the business, in particular:
- Internal media team / media agency:
- Briefing of all directly executed media campaigns
- Budget setting and plan approval
- Copy creation and localisation of assets
- Commercial/Distributor sales teams:
- Support and motivate the local distributor teams, champion the product and create materials and assets to allow sales teams to sell the product externally.
- Provision of key sales tools such as retail presentation creation and delivery to partners.
- PR team to deliver effective, innovative and integrated PR plans that stay within budget.
- Work closely with internal Project teams so that there is a steady two-way flow of communication, with particular emphasis on ensuring Export territory needs for core creative and promotional materials are represented and met.
Work closely with Marketing Director - Export and Finance teams to track, sign off and close POs in a timely fashion
- Management of territory agency roster, in particular
- Build and foster great working relationships with our central media agency, ensuring they are fully briefed and have a full understanding of our products to deliver media plans on strategy, on budget and on time for allocated titles.
- Creative agencies and internal Creative Studio to deliver needed campaign assets and marketing activities to desired standards on allocated titles.
- Partnership agencies management & execution of local partnership activities, if necessary, for the campaign.
- Keep up to date with the latest marketing and industry trends relevant to job role

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Good experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns, especially in digital marketing with a results-driven mindset.
- A gamer with a strong understanding of players’ expectations to create the best and most relevant plans.
- Very good project management capabilities and planning, with good knowledge in online tools to save time and work efficiently.
- Excellent at writing presentations with strong attention to detail.
- Significant experience and knowledge of tactical marketing on a European level.
- Must show understanding of the different requirements for European or International markets and have prior experience of delivering to different local territory needs.
- Experienced in delivering innovative above the line promotional activities, with an active and evolving knowledge of promotional opportunities, technologies and trends.
- Good and confident communicator/presenter, with proven ability of working effectively across a diverse number of international stakeholders.
- Must have previous experience within the computer games industry and/or other entertainment-based industry.
- Experience of working to KPI’s.
Desirable:
- Experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns in European territories.
- Degree level of education or equivalent, and/or CIM qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of the Western games market.
