Licensing Production Manager

We are looking for a Licensing Production Manager to join us at Zynga Austin in creating Star Wars: Hunters™, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Star Wars: Hunters will bring players together to engage in thrilling, squad-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage asset approvals under direction of the Lead Producer
• Track art, audio, video and other assets daily
• Build and maintain tracking documents of asset approvals for long term and short term game projects
• Manage submission risks, identifying and resolving issues before they become delivery blockers, work with internal and external partners on mitigation strategies.
• Triage licensor feedback, coordinating and collaborating with all parties to assure timely alignment and high-quality assets.
• Maintain awareness of product and marketing roadmaps. Proactively recognize interdependencies, anticipating impact of changes on submissions and approval timelines.
• Organize, provide quality control and submit game assets to licensors for approval, while communicating feedback to teams and managing all change requests and resubmissions
• Learn and be able to contribute and communicate improvements to the existing working processes
• Work closely with external vendors, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and Procurement on maintaining existing license agreements

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience within a similar role, in the games industry or media licensing
• Project management experience
• Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across multiple teams and project stakeholders
• Content production tracking experience, specifically managing a submission timeline in a predictable way.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent written skills in reports, emails and other communication.
• Strong verbal communication both one-on-one and in larger meetings with internal and external parties.
• Highly organized. Able to track and maintain the status of a large volume of creative assets and their associated feedback for tracking and approval purposes.
• Develops and owns processes, constantly seeks to improve efficiency.
• Ability to learn in-house and external partner proprietary website portals.
• Proficient with Jira, Slack, Confluence, Google Suite and Microsoft Office
