Marketing Lead

As Marketing Lead, you will help develop overall strategy and lead campaigns across brand, UA, and influencer marketing for our upcoming multiplatform game Project-V.

In this role, you will partner with leadership in publishing, commercial, and development to build and execute marketing campaigns across different platforms, regions, and channels. You will also be a key contributor to our go to market strategy and plan for Project-V, as well as its live operation campaigns to grow the game into a worldwide success.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in digital marketing, knowledgeable about the free to play gaming space across mobile and PC, as well as a proactive self-starter who is constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and clever ideas to stand out.

We are NOT looking for someone who will limit themselves to high level strategy consultation via powerpoint slides. We ARE looking for someone who equally enjoys high level strategy development, deep diving into campaigns with the team, high-touch operations, and firsthand accountable risk taking - all for the purpose of helping us build a game that players around the world love!

What You Will Do:

• Have a CMO-like mindset and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to deliver a successful launch and continued growth for Project-V.
• Hire and lead a small team of domain experts to execute successful UA, brand, and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Oversee and manage the performance plus spend of all marketing campaigns.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Community, Insights, and Production to drive 360 campaigns.
• Identify, brief, and manage external agencies to deliver high quality executions.
• Utilize detailed analysis and learnings to inform and support reaching KPIs across platforms, channels, and campaigns.
• Bring new and big ideas to the table, as well as collaboratively build on others’. concepts to deliver game engagement and build a passion for the universe.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in marketing management, with 5+ years of experience in brand, influencer, or UA fields.
• At least 1 successful free-to-play game title launched, and/or live operated.
• Enjoys working on smaller, agile teams in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Aptitude and ability to hire and manage expert team members to achieve results.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Able to articulate the “why” instead of just the “how” and “what” to drive team wide alignment.
• Passion for games and obsessed with improving the player experience.
• Ability to make decisions based on both qualitative gut feel and quantitative. reasoning.

Bonus Points:

• Advanced business, or marketing degree a plus.
• Deep expertise in more than one sub-field of marketing.
• A passion for multiplayer, team based games.
