About Betadwarf
BetaDwarf is an ambitious venture company where we push the boundaries of co-op games to create lifelong friendships all around the world. Joined by the illustrious London Venture Partners, Makers Fund, 1Up Ventures and Everblue Management on a journey to becoming a front-runner in games that also attacks a society epidemic; loneliness.
It all started in Copenhagen with a small group squatting in a university classroom for 7 months, getting discovered and moving in together for 3 years. Through a Kickstarter, a private bank loan and perseverance we released FORCED, selling 500,000+ copies and since reaching millions of players with Minion Masters. Job description
As a Marketing Intern at BetaDwarf, you will work closely with our Marketing Growth Manager with a shared goal of improving Minion Master’s communication, especially on Discord, and onboarding new Creators in our Creator Program both for Minion Masters and F4E. You will be in charge of executing operational tasks on both games while being a Point of Contact for the Minion Masters Community.
With this internship, you can have the chance to develop your skills in advertising, marketing, and community management. You will also get an understanding of how a game company with multiple games in production functions.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with creating and organising special events on our Minion Masters Discord server
- Being a point of contact for our Moderators on our Discord Server
- Continuously look for new ways to develop the server
- Assistance with restarting Minion Masters’ communication on various platforms such as Steam, Twitter, and Reddit
- Assistance with developing our creators’ activity
- Assistance with growing BetaDwarf’s partner members
- Update Minion Master newsletters and emails
- Support with event coordination during update releases and potential tournaments
- Assistance with creating and placing advertisements
Requirements
- Ideally, you are in the last year of your studies in Marketing, Communication, Community Management, or other related fields
- Fluency in written and spoken English (other languages are a plus)
- You are highly interested in computer games and in the gaming industry as a whole
- You are curious, creative, and like to take initiatives
- You have a strong desire to always learn and improve
