Inspired by minimalist art, Dots was created with the notion that beauty and fun are not mutually exclusive. Now as a successful studio, our goal is to provide the world with stylish and meaningful daily play experiences. We need a paid Intern to join our diverse, multi-talented team and contribute to our award-winning game, Two Dots.
About Us
Dots is an award-winning gaming company with three mobile hits— Dots, Two Dots , and Dots & Co —and over 100 million installs. We are proud new members of the Take-Two Interactive family.
While currently fully remote, we expect to return to our stylish office, located in Manhattan in the historic Meatpacking District, once we can safely do so.

Who We’re Looking For
We're looking for a smart, scrappy design intern to help us reach new players by creating performance-driven marketing assets that appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds.
- College-level-or-equivalent students from Motion/ Multimedia Design-related programs
- Can range from sophomore to recent grad levels (or equivalent) depending on portfolio
- An energetic, curious, fast-learner who works well in a collaborative environment
- Someone able to work 4-5 days a week (flexible) in Summer 2021
- Someone who is able to work remotely and is open to the idea of coming into our NYC office when it is safe to do so.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Advertising Design: You will work on a wide range of deliverables including marketing and promotional materials, digital and web assets, banner ads, and more!
- Marketing Strategy: You will work alongside our marketing creative team, using business goals and brand strategy to design UA assets that drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Creative Direction: You will work collaboratively with our Marketing Creative Producer, User Acquisition Managers and Lead Marketing Designer to brainstorm ideas and refine our campaign goals.
Your Skillset
- You are studying Motion/ Multimedia Design or a closely related field, and are curious about how it applies to marketing for games.
- Have a solid portfolio that showcases your expertise using animation, color, imagery, and graphic design.
- Work quickly and can repurpose/resize existing ad creatives for various ad network platforms.
- Are an innovative thinker who can come to the table with fresh ideas and competitor references.
- Are fluent in After Effects + Adobe Creative Suite.
- Are optimistic with a can-do attitude and have an interest in problem solving.
