Marketing Design Intern (Spring 2022)

Jam City, Los Angeles’ premier mobile gaming studio, is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-driven Marketing Design Intern for the Spring 2022 semester to join our Creative Marketing Design team remotely for our internship program. Within this internship, you will create compelling concepts and assets for our mobile game titles across major social and ad publishing networks. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of designs - from motion graphics to static designs. We are looking for a talented student who has big ideas, is highly motivated, and is interested in the mobile gaming industry. This internship opportunity will be entirely remote and part-time (10-20 hours per week).

Internship Program Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program in the U.S (Juniors or Seniors preferred) and able to intern remotely through late-April 2022.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US during the Spring 2022 session. Visa sponsorship is not available for our internship positions.
- Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week)
AS A MARKETING DESIGN INTERN YOU WILL:
- Partner with the Marketing Design team in assisting with production work including resizing assets, preparing files for video creation, and localizing assets
- Design videos and static ads for use on Facebook, Instagram, Ad Networks, etc
- Create high quality ads for a variety of campaigns across our mobile titles such as: video ads, banners, gifs and statics
- Animate, edit, design and compose marketing content following IP specific brand and style guidelines
- Create concepts and adapt to different design styles and target users
WHO YOU ARE:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program in the U.S. (Juniors or Seniors preferred) during the Spring 2022 program
- Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week)
- Working towards a degree in design related field
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of design fundamentals such as: typography, composition, color.
- Knowledge of codecs, frame rates and video files.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in an efficient manner
- Strong communication skills with an ability to take and deliver constructive feedback
- Must include a portfolio of work demonstrating your breadth of skill and project contributions
- Able to collaborate on projects in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong eye for quality and acute attention to detail.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere
- Illustration skills
About Jam City’s Internship Program:
Jam City’s Spring 2022 Digital Internship Program will take place from February 7th - April 22nd and will be entirely remote. Students can expect a paid, part-time (15-20 hours per week) internship working alongside Jam City’s business and studio development teams. Within internships, students gain valuable insights into our products, players, and industry. Our program allows students to work on impactful projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop problem-solving skills through real hands-on experiences.
