Marketing Coordinator

KingsIsle Entertainment is currently looking for an entry-level Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing team in producing and building content across our digital properties. This position will help determine the flow and aesthetics of our content, ensure game promotions run smoothly, and message in-game initiatives accurately. The ideal candidate is collaborative, creative, and has an excellent attention to detail. This is a unique opportunity to learn game marketing processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Promotion Coordination

• Request, track, and approve marketing assets such as social media graphics, website landing pages, launcher images, and more
• Write perfectly punny and creative marketing copy that captivates players and embodies our brand voice

• Prepare and publish digital content across our website and other platforms
• Verify that all marketing messaging is complete and accurate

• Email Marketing

• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to keep subscribers informed and engaged
• Analyze email metrics and conduct A/B testing in order to consistently improve and refine our email program

• Track, research, and understand email best practices and industry trends to optimize campaigns and make recommendations

• Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with the Product team to understand and support roadmap development and goals
• Work cross functionally with game development, web development, art, and other departments to plan and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives
• Support the Marketing and Community teams on various projects as needed

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for game marketing and an eagerness to learn new processes
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask requirements and balance priorities
• Extremely organized and can see projects through to completion
• Excellent copywriting skills

• Ability to take and give constructive feedback
• Proficiency in MS Office
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented attitude

Preferences

• 0-2 years of experience with email, digital marketing, or communications in the gaming industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or other related field
• Experience planning and executing successful email marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of CRM tools and email marketing software

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• A passion for games
• Deep understanding of Wizard101 and Pirate101
