Marketing Coordinator, User Acquisition

As a Marketing Coordinator on the Kongregate User Acquisition team, your mission is to maximize the success of our mobile marketing effort. Your main responsibility will be to manage and optimize our campaigns across several networks and channels. You will work closely with our marketing vendors to launch new campaigns and monitor campaigns across their publisher base. You will work with the marketing team to ensure we are following a solid advertising plan that aligns with our portfolio’s goals.
The ideal candidate understands the mobile game space and product best practices and has a thorough understanding of analytics and data.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, launch, and track marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Manage and develop relationships with marketing partners and vendors
- Discover and test new marketing partners
- Implement changes to campaigns based on learnings from previous campaigns
Qualifications:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Both creative and analytical with a metrics-driven approach to problem solving
- Understanding of user acquisition and growth best practices
- Familiarity with free-to-play game products as a consumer or working professional
- Proficient with Excel
- Ability to multi-task and juggle projects across multiple networks and platforms
- Quantitative bachelor degree recommended (Engineering, Math, Economics, etc.) or proven track record in a quantitative/problem solving environment
- Passion for the mobile games business
Preferred:
- Familiarity with mobile user acquisition networks and analytics: Ad-X, HasOffers, TapJoy, Flurry, etc.
- Basic understanding of online game marketing metrics
- Basic SQL experience is a definite plus
