We have an immediate opening in our Berlin office for a passionate and experienced Marketing Coordinator. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with an innovative and fun team that is taking off in the mobile ad-tech space. This person will be a key member of the marketing team and will help raise brand awareness through various core marketing channels in EMEA with a focus on Russian-speaking countries. He/she will play a crucial role in driving marketing operations in these regions by helping with events and training seminars, creating content, and aiding in the management of our local social media presence.
What you'll be doing
- Develop, plan and execute a variety of physical and digital events across EMEA with a focus on Russian-speaking countries, including but not limited to workshops, industry conferences, webinars, VIP dinners, and parties, etc.
- Coordinate specifics for each event including registrations, sponsorship fulfillment, day of event logistics, and after- event follow-up
- Assist in drafting event communications, building registration pages, event social media planning, and maintaining high-level event branding
- Accompany and support AppLovin speakers to their panel speaking sessions at local and international industry events
- Manage staff and event swag program. Be responsible for distributing and restocking staff swag as well as ordering special event swag items
- Work with the Sr. Graphic Designer to assist on basic design tasks
- Translate English events, social and PR content to Russian and develop original content for social media and paid campaigns when needed
- Assist local Marketing & Event Associate in working with Russian press agencies and paid media.
Your background and who you are
- Must have at least 1+ years of marketing experience
- A high level of written and oral communication skills in English and Russian is required, with the ability to work in a diverse environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to multitask
- Great interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
- BA degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent
- Desire to travel
Bonus points
- Preferably based in Berlin
- Proven experience in organizing and managing events in mobile advertising and or performance marketing
- Passion for events, logistics, people experience, branding, and problem-solving
- Experience with Twitter and Facebook management, including managing content pipeline/calendar and day-to-day postings
- Tech-savvy; proficiency in Google Suite, ASANA, Zoom, and other event management tools
- Basic understanding of ad tech and programmatic advertising ecosystem
