Manufacturing Operations ManagerSummary
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for the schedule performance, product quality, and process efficiencies of the manufacturing and remanufacturing activities for the Tulsa Integration Center (TIC). These activities will include new component assembly, Teardown, Final assembly, integration, and functional testing of EGM terminal machines and the test and upgrade activities for field returns assemblies.
This has been designated as a safety-sensitive job because it involves performing one or more tasks/duties that could reasonably affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task(s) or others.What You'll Do
- Establish and manage the performance objectives for TIC manufacturing activities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the TIC manufacturing activities.
- Establish and manage assembly and test labor standards for remanufactured and repairable products.
- Establish capacity plans, workflow processes, and manufacturing procedures and instructions for TIC manufacturing activities.
- Define and recommend manufacturing equipment requirements inclusive of production equipment and aids, material handling equipment and systems, and data collection and reporting equipment.
- Develop manufacturing workmanship, and quality standards for remanufactured and repairable products.
- Develop and manage a closed-loop corrective action improvement programs for TIC manufactured products, through proactive improvement initiatives locally, vendor feedback / corrective action programs, and coordination and escalation with ATI corporate Engineering and Quality organizations.
- Be a proactive member of the TIC Management Team supporting organizational goals and objectives, operational projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Establish annual financial budgets, manpower and staffing plans, and capital requirements for a TIC manufacturing operation.
- Establish and manage the performance objectives for TIC manufacturing activities across the Global MFG network.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the TIC manufacturing activities through Equivalate Unit Monitoring (EU)
- Establish and manage Refurbished and assembly test labor standards for remanufactured and repairable products.
- Establish capacity plans, workflow processes, and remanufacturing procedures and instructions for TIC manufacturing activities.
- Define and recommend manufacturing equipment requirements inclusive of production equipment and aids, material handling equipment and systems, and data collection and reporting equipment.
- Develop manufacturing workmanship, and quality standards for manufactured and repairable products.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree preferred in Management, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5 - 10 years management experience in Manufacturing
- Engineering experience a plus, with an emphasis on lean and Manufacturing processes
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing work environments
- Travel as required 10-15%
- Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of technical systems that support business operations.
