The Roblox Trust and Safety Global Scaled Operations team is looking for someone to build our strategic workforce forecasting. You will lead the efforts in developing our strategic workforce planning approach for our Customer Support and Moderation teams, ensuring the right level of resourcing aligns with our capacity and service-level partner organizations. You will evaluate and plan around skills adequacy, workforce distribution, and the use of data to make informed workforce planning decisions. You are passionate about creating a strategy and building efficient mechanisms to manage our partner workforce, who provide important player and Roblox community support by managing and improving our workforce management processes, capacity planning, forecasts, and tools. This visible role impacts the Trust and Safety Operations organization, working with important partners, including Customer Support and Moderation leadership, Finance, Safety Engineering, Data Science.
You will report to the Senior Director of Compliance and Operations.
You Will:
- Oversee the global workforce management strategy
- Build the Standard Operating Procedure, ensuring standardized resource management practices across different teams
- Be the lead system administrator of Roblox’s internal workforce management tool; manage and improve the resource allocation, tracking, and transfer processes
- Use technical knowledge, expertise, and data insights to create a strategy and an action plan for resource utilization
- Manage financial/material resource usage among the team for both internal and vendor-supported staff
- Encourage others to assess the potential impact of resource decisions related to efficiency and cost reduction
- Provide primary input to the quarterly forecast model, partnering with finance, data science, and operations leadership to ensure accurate completion of all forecast deliverables
- Establish working relationships with partners and become a trusted advisor
- Lead quarterly forecast and performance reviews with management teams, and recommend appropriate courses of action to achieve organizational goals
- Create metrics to monitor performance across multiple groups and ensure efficient execution and delivery of work
- Advise the business on proper metrics for productivity measurement and aid in the development of reporting and tools to achieve important performance and effect
You Have:
- 5+ years experience in management or consulting for workforce planning
- Experience using data to lead improvements
- Experience working cross-functionally with partners inside and outside of the organization
- 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, Finance Operations, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in an Enterprise or Corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- Experience building a team
- Experience in workforce planning and resource management
- Experience in implementing a workforce management tool
- Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing teams
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$159,870 — $184,180 USD
