Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Manager, User Experience Research in San Francisco, CA to oversee multi-method User Experience (UX) related research, including the planning, execution, and management of quantitative and qualitative research projects to assess UX product design for home entertainment systems. Requires a Master’s degree in any field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience owning end-to-end User Experience (UX) research by conducting foundational, primary, generative and summative research to inform product direction. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience conducting design research using multi-methods research, including qualitative and quantitative methods; preparing impactful UX deliverables, including User Personas, Mental Model Maps, Journey Maps, and User-flows; applying industry-standard UX research methods to administer standardized tests and collect research data; utilizing instruments and ethnographic methods to analyze real world user experiences, including questionnaires, in-depth interviews and group interviews; performing concept testing, in-lab, and remote usability testing, and tree testing; and utilizing quantitative methods, including surveys and behavioral analytics, to collect qualitative input and quantitative metrics for measuring user experience and facilitating the product development process.
