The Opportunity
The Manager of Security Operations is responsible for building and assuring a converged security operational management of Unity is maintained and continually improved. This includes three core components, physical and cyber security operations, and the threat and vulnerability management process. The manager is responsible for the assurance that all incidents, physical or cyber, are identified and responded to appropriately. The manager is similarly responsible for assuring the identification and remediation of configuration deviations and vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
The Manager of Security Operations reports to the Chief Security Officer.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage all cybersecurity and physical security 24/7 capabilities and incidents to remediation. This includes an “all-hazards” scope.
- Manage the build and ongoing deployment of the security logging and monitoring infrastructure
- Manage the security vulnerability and configuration process and tooling to support to ensure timely remediation
- Coordination and report to executives and stakeholders to build and maintain a positive communication and execution
- Manage and maintain an exceptional culture and team. This includes career development and growth for a highly effective team
What we’re looking for
- Experience building out and managing a company-wide cybersecurity incident response and physical security “all-hazards” SOC teams and processes
- Proficient in Incident Management and Response processes and industry frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.
- Knowledge in multi-cloud environments (e.g. GCP & AWS), SIEIM and forensic tools.
- Technical knowledge in multi-cloud environments (e.g. GCP & AWS), cybersecurity forensic tools, Honeywell Pro-Watch, and more
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders
You might also have
- Law enforcement experience
- Experience with FEMA EMS NIMS processes
- Broad understanding of Cyber Security, IT Security, operations, ITIL framework, agile project management, and leadership.
