The Manager, People Solutions will play an integral part in the development of Kabam’s People operational policies and program guidelines as we continue to scale globally. You are a systems-minded, data-driven individual with a knack for solving complex organizational challenges. You have a strong understanding of SOX and have experience developing processes to meet audit requirements.
At this time, we are looking for someone who resides in British Columbia, Canada. This will start as a 1 year Temporary Full-Time contract.
As a Manager, People Solutions, you will be:
- Managing a broad portfolio of operational Human Resources (HR) pillars at Kabam, including but not limited to the maintenance and establishment of People policies and programs, improvements and roll outs for benefits and compensation programs
- Developing industry leading practices to foster a best in class workforce and culture of security and compliance
- Collaborating with multiple internal teams and stakeholders to examine and enhance our total rewards and employee development programs
- Providing oversight for compliance requirements, including operational areas that may be impacted by audits and employment law
- Coaching, and mentoring the People Team while fostering a trusting learning environment
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar field. CPHR designation is preferred8+ years of HR experience, ideally with HR Generalist experience in a SOX environment
- Experience with HR policy governance, plus managing the successful operational delivery of HR processes, systems, and programs
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar is highly desirable
- Experience managing benefits plan design, analysis and open enrolment is highly desirable
- Must have strong knowledge of Canadian employment law. Additional exposure to US and/or Quebec HR policies is a bonus
- Strong ability to problem-solve, manage conflict, adhere to tight deadlines, handle ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic environment
To take it up a notch, you will also have:
- Experience overseeing auditing requirements and compliance reporting at a publicly traded organization
- Familiarity with the video games industry, or a passion for gaming!
- Experience working and partnering with employees at multiple sites/offices
- Approaching problems with agility, calmness, and curiosity in order to create solutions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
- Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
