Manager, Partner Relations, Industry

The opportunity
Unity's Partner Relations team is looking for a proactive, people-centric manager to cultivate the success of our most valued partners, while equipping the team with the knowledge they need to guide our Industry partners through their most ambitious projects.
Working directly with our partners we ensure that Unity productions all over the world are continually pushing boundaries, by solving the problems that everyone else gave up on as impossible! Our customers build everything from online product configurators to photorealistic surgical simulators to immersive multi-user VR experiences, and they’re going to need our help to get their projects to maximum performance, stay super-stable, and released on time. Rest assured, you’ll never be bored at Unity!
You'll need to build up a deep understanding of Unity’s customer's development pathways, help to surface and solve people issues, and channel data back directly to our Senior Leadership. You'll take ownership of customer escalations with a calm, diplomatic focus.

You'll set the bar high, ensuring we are always focused, on point, and delivering a customer experience that sets Unity apart. You will enable an empathetic, inclusive team culture and proactively seek to build out a team with a diverse range of skills and experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Call out urgent customer issues and independently push to solutions by enlisting resources both inside and outside of the technical support team
- Monitor customer satisfaction (CSAT), ensure the resolution of emerging issues in real-time and diplomatically collaborate with a wide variety of customer personalities
- Build and maintain real-time reporting of responsiveness, service quality and CSAT and use the data to help drive Unity’s customer care culture
- Proactively maintain excellent relations between Partner Relations and other departments within Unity, globally
- Work closely with sales teams in the APAC region to help cement our Success Services offerings in the market and grow our customer base
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record of leading high performance teams
- Consistent record for managing large groups of external partners
- Proficient English-speaker, additional language of Japanese or Korean would be a bonus
- Outstanding social & communication skills, and a highly-proactive personality
- Able to travel both domestically and internationally
You might also have
- Knowledge of SaaS Customer Success lifecycles and actions
- Previous experience as a Technical Project Manager/ Technical Account Manager in an industrial sector such as automotive, architecture, construction, defence, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or other similar sectors
- Programming experience in both compiled and interpreted languages
