Job Summary:

In this role, our Manager of Integration & Procurement will assist the Production Team with technical integration, operational, and audio/visual procurement oversight. From the ‘Blue Sky’ phase, you will be assisting reviews, overviewing, and mark-up of BlueBeam® sessions, ensuring proper wire, special effects, network, outlets, and installation elements are ready prior to installation.

Working in tandem with the Production Team, logistical planning will be reviewed, planned, and drafted manifests will be created. Overseeing procurement, budgeting, and coordination while working closely with the Production Team would be key to a successful project. A keen eye for detail, and vast knowledge of technology including (but not limited to) LED video walls, projection, pepper’s ghost/musion effects, audio and video calibration, conference set-up, ethernet/power/data line running, and basic engineering knowledge is a must.

Once installation begins, coordinating efforts for on-site install teams (both internal and subcontracted) will be spearheaded by you, ensuring a seamless installation plan.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a technical-forward procurement manager role, applicants must have experience with large LED walls, PC procurement, audio/visual design, Show Control system design, projection studies, and special effects in a theatrical or theme park/entertainment industry experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of internal and third-party resources
  • Review of contracting procedures, including procurement necessities
  • Scoping and planning of special effects and/or audio-visual products
  • Manage Project Manifests, budgeting allotment, and communicating with Leadership on discrepancies
  • Assist Production Team and be able to work in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Communicating with internal Production & Design Teams
  • Tracking of hours, tasks, and milestones in project management software
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Salary:

  • Base salary plus performance bonuses.

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of Event or Themed Entertainment Experience
  • Experience recommending local, and business to business sales channels
  • Technical expertise in audio/visual design, projection, special effects, audio/visual system integration, third-party procurement, and entertainment forward design
  • Existing knowledge of special effects including, but not limited to, audio/sound design, projection design, effect fabrication, theatrical lighting, LED walls, short/long throw projection, etc.
  • Contractor, Vendor, or Management experience is required
  • Contracting experience or certifications are a big plus
  • Budgeting certifications and experience is also great, but not required
