Position Intro
Capcom licensing team is looking for a licensing manager who will look for new business opportunities, and manage partner relationships.
Responsibilities
- Familiarize oneself with the CAPCOM licensing business flow
- Negotiate deal terms, close deals, and act as an account manager to lead each project to a successful launch for traditional licensing categories (soft goods and hard goods)
- Research and identify potential new business outside the traditional licensing, such as mobile game collaboration opportunities with CAPCOM key franchises. (Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Mega Man…)
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, Marketing, PR, and the development team
- Other responsibilities may include Product approvals: Support Sr. Manager of Product Approval and communicate with the development team in Japan
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in licensing or partnership management in the video gaming industry
- Proven track record of closing deals and bringing them to fruition
- Knowledge and experience in the mobile gaming landscape and key publishers preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence cross functional teams
- Japanese language skills preferred, but not required
- Passion and love for video games
- Ability to project manage multiple projects with attention to detail

Physical Demands
Ability to lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
