Summary:
Age of Learning is seeking to hire an Account Executive Manager in Texas State into our Schools Division who will be reporting to our National Director of Sales. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our other Sales leaders on building out our world-class schools' business. This individual will assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies aligned with our growth goals and field sales efforts, specifically as it relates to the Texas region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Forecast and pipeline review meetings with Sales Executives
- Manage Account Executives within assigned territory
- Selling within government agencies
- Ensure lead generation and pipeline growth will achieve revenue targets for managed sales team
- Devising and implementing new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitor their effectiveness
- Assist in hiring, training, and sales team evaluations
- Provide field-level feedback to Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams
- Provide timely and accurate reporting pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and territory management
- Demonstrate knowledge of each mastery product, develop an ability to inform, present, and converse fluently and comfortably with all customer levels
- Lead sales calls with a wide variety of prospects at state, district, and school levels
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading an outside sales team, selling education and/or educational technology products.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success using federal funds for the purchase of technology-based instructional materials and professional services
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets
- Intermediate skills in utilizing Salesforce to drive sales and sales management activities
- Proven experience networking with key decision-makers at the state and school district level
- Conduct customer-facing meetings onsite in district offices
- 50%-75% travel will be required mostly within the state of Texas
- Work with cross-functional teams to strategically develop and build an AofL presence in the school’s marketplace.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, and competition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling in the education market
- Experience selling to districts with the assigned region
- Salesforce experience
