Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Development

We're looking for an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join our Corporate Development team in the Bay Area. EA's Corporate Development team is responsible for the evaluation and execution of M&A and strategic programs globally across EA's departments. The group partners with our executive management and business unit leaders to: (i) identify growth opportunities for EA (ii) source and evaluate strategic initiatives to capitalize upon these opportunities and lead shareholder value and (iii) manage the transaction execution and integration process.
You will report to the Manager, Corporate Development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities and strategic programs, including acquisitions, investments, divestitures, projects & partnerships:
- Opportunity evaluation and assessment.
- Financial modeling and valuation.
- Business case development.
- Diligence & issue resolution.
- Transaction execution & integration.
- Manage internal and external transaction team.
- Partner with teams and department colleagues.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to department leaders and senior management.
- Source, research, and recommend potential M&A and strategic opportunities.
- Oversee market participants and trends in the gaming, interactive entertainment, and related sectors.
Experience Required:
- You have an MBA from top-tier institution.
- Your total work experience of 10+ years with 4 years in corporate development at a large technology or media company, and a background in investment banking.
- Experience with merger/acquisition analysis and related issues.
- Excellent business sense and ability to understand and resolve complex business issues
- A personal interest in the gaming industry

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. BASE SALARY RANGES • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
