Manager, Controllership

Title: Manager I – Controllership, Europe

• Technical accounting
  • Act as a key partner for the European Controllership and Shared Services Teams for any inquiry regarding compliance or implementation of accounting standards
  • Primary point of contact for the review of draft policies, coordinate review among team members
  • Increase awareness and compliance with key accounting policies
• Contract Reviews
  • Participate in contract reviews involving EA Swiss (deliver accounting assessment, partner with business and finance teams in relation with deal terms…)
  • Primary point of contact for global sponsoring deals (EA Inc)

• Accounting for Hedge
  • Manage the B/S hedge forecast program for EA Swiss
  • Participate in EA Swiss’ hedge accounting entries

• Monthly reporting
  • Involved in the preparation of the monthly GCO P&L reporting from D+3 to D+7, including planning for the different meetings and the preparation of the comments submitted for review by FP&A.
  • Assistance with the D7 BS Reporting for Europe
  • Involved in the preparation/review of the disclosure for the purpose of preparing the 10-K notes and schedule

• Responsible for the coordination with Hyderabad
  • Monitoring of the performance through SLA
  • Process improvements
  • Onshore training program for all Hyderabad Team members
  • Project Management for ongoing offshoring initiatives
  • Preparation of the 3-year roadmap

• Project management and Subject Matters Expert
  • Prepare the annual risk assessment and manage the ICS program
  • Participate on projects related to systems upgrades, process alignment, capital transactions or integration of companies
  • Participate as Subject Matters Expert of certain areas of expertise (financial reporting, financial close …)

• Other & Temporary responsibilities
  • Project management on behalf of EU Controllership Team Leads
  • SME for (a) reporting, (b) close and (c) fixed assets
  • Back-up of certain activities from other peers (Nina’s maternity leave or other team members)
