Manager, Content Publishing - Global Channel Marketing

As Manager, Content Publishing for Global Channel Marketing , you will work with a team of 8, ranging from content associates to content strategists, who coordinate day-to-day content distribution on our game channels, while also working with internal and external teams on channel development. You will be the shepherd of the content-shepherds, focusing your efforts on optimal content distribution, content optimization, and publishing strategy.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Content Publishing, on the Content Publishing team in Global Channel Marketing , within Worldwide Publishing , where you will help manage the team of Rioters responsible for publishing content, help develop content best practices, improve processes and work systems, and maintain up-to-date roadmaps, project plans, and backlogs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 7, providing craft guidance
• Manage complex workflows and processes, facilitating rituals to keep the team on track
• Define scope and timeline of projects, tracking the project through completion
• Coordinate the delivery of dependencies for ad-hoc projects and regular content releases from teams collaborating across Riot
• Create transparency and predictability through roadmaps, anticipative planning, and active risk management
• Maintain a clean, up-to-date work backlog

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in adjacent/relevant positions in content publishing / content management
• You've worked on products with a global footprint, coordinating with colleagues across different time zones
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
• Experience managing project planning, task prioritization, and coordination with development teams

Desired Qualifications:

• You've worked in several CMSes and know the ins-and-outs of how they should work, and have lead the implementation of CMSes and CMS features
• You have experience managing the planning and publishing of complex editorial calendars
• Vendor management experience with creative agencies
