Job Description
We are looking for a Manager of Communications to help define and establish our communications strategy and voice, leading efforts to bring our story to the world by building strong relationships with key audiences, both externally and internally. Reporting into a Director of Communications, the ideal candidate will have a proven record of success building technology brands and establishing relationships with key agencies. The role requires someone with experience supporting and helping to guide a savvy team of curious and determined multi-disciplinary experts, with oversight of technology and developer communications, media relations, partner communications and internal communications.
Responsibilities
- Create campaigns that drive global awareness and impact of the brand
- Convey the mission and values of the brand, both internally and externally
- Manage the relationship with external partners and agencies
- Help manage the communications function, assist executives with messaging and delivery
- Collaborate with peers on the digital team to advise on paid tactics and campaigns
- Work closely with the product, content and engineering teams, as well as other internal stakeholders to craft messaging and communications plans
- Work closely with Product, Studios, Developer Relations, Cloud, Content as well as other internal stakeholders to collaborate and evangelize spatial computing
- Stay well ahead of marketing and media trends and contribute new innovative, breakthrough ideas that help the growth of the company
Qualifications
- 5+ years of strategic communications experience, with deep expertise in consumer technology
- A track record of building consensus and delivering high-impact global communications initiatives
- Proven ability to develop strategy and execute day-to-day tactics
- A clear demonstration of internal cross-functional partnership and collaboration
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with changes in a fast-paced start-up environment
Education
- BS/BA degree in marketing or communications (or related field) from an accredited college or university
