Manager, Business Project Management (M/W/NB)

Job Description

Context:

Within the Direct-to-player Solutions Group, you will directly report to the Senior Director. The group you will be leading is the Business Project Management Unit, where we foster a competency center on business project management to master operational excellence to sustain the Ubisoft Store and Ubisoft + business needs.

In a nutshell:

Within a digital technical commerce environment, you will lead a team of business project managers that will streamline, enrich, and manage the operational excellence delivery to sustain the exponential go-to-market growth and the best-in-class platform.

You will keep a close eye on all the front-end, payment and back-end projects for both Ubisoft Store and Ubisoft+ and will be working daily with a lot of different stakeholders (Business units, UX/UI, CX, Data, Marketing, Legal, IT, Online Services, Content, …) to help your team ship the projects within the deadlines given.

Your job will also be to make your unit shine internally by their excellence into delivering qualitative solutions, help create process for the whole Direct-to-player Group and make each member of your team grow.

What you'll do

· Hire and manage a group of business project managers and nurture a competency center to combine Agile, waterfall and V project management models.

· Grasp and translate the Go-to-market vision and best-in-class practices for both Ubisoft Store and Ubisoft+ into comprehensive business requirements for each stakeholder and related solutions

· Plan and define a comprehensive resource allocation (financial, experience, expertise, and technology) to fuel the committed scope over the product/solution life cycle

· Define smart milestones to balance the added value over the effort of the scope and resource allocation with specific monitoring and communication

· Works constructively and collaboratively with the different stakeholders by requesting concise expectations and by communicating relevant information on a regular basis

· Improve your go-to-market collective knowledge-base and the best-in-class practices to enhance your operational excellence processes.

· Embrace the Ubisoft attributes by acting as a model, collaborating constructively, inspiring positively people and stepping out of your comfort zone to enhance your job skills

· Ease the decision-making on prioritization and allocation of resources by giving the right level of information to keep a good mentum level and avoid potential bottlenecks

· Challenge the resource allocation impact to improve the added value into projects over time

Review on a regular basis the delivery progression project portfolio with quantitative metrics and qualitative information

Qualifications

· Relevant professional experience in digital project management / technical environment

· PMP Certification

· Bilingual (French/English)

· Coordination and communication skills

· Solutions driven person

· Technical environment understanding (technical project process, QA process, customer flows, back-office, payment flows, …)

· Comfortable with Jira, SmartSheet, Confluence and other project management tools

· Data and ROI driven

· Interest/knowledge in e-commerce and/or subscription and video games/entertainmen
