Overview:
The QA Business Operations team is a central support team with a mission to provide insights and analysis to facilitate best practices and smart business decisions. Additionally, we drive various programs to support the organizational vision and bolster leadership productivity and effectiveness.
We are looking for a Manager, QA Business Operations to run this highly cross-functional team. The ideal candidate is resourceful, endlessly curious, and has the unique ability to combine and translate data, technical analysis, and plans into concise insights. While relationship building, written and verbal communication are the backbone of this position, the role also requires the ability to shift between the macro and micro to successfully support various stakeholders in different capacities.
Job Duties:
- Drive the vision of QA Business Operations and manage a team of business analysts and project managers to deliver against objectives
- Own relationships with internal leaders across finance, data, HR, technology, development, and leadership to stay on leading edge of the business planned activities, forecasts and KPIs. Proactively distill and communicate relevant information to QA leadership
- Own organizational insights and deliver with excellence through various avenues such as reporting, dashboards, or presentations
- Own end-to-end the AOP cycle for the business unit, resource allocations, and budget forecasting. Be the subject matter expert on these plans to guide department heads and field their questions
- Own quality and delivery of various programs such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Partner Surveys, OKR tracking, and Game Credits
- Anticipate and ask new questions about business performance and drive for insightful answers
- Deliver business intelligence gathering and smart synthesis from voluminous and disparate information sources - qualitative, quantitative, technical, financial
- Support business intelligence and reporting at scale by designing frameworks, processes, and infrastructure to enable speed, consistency, and depth of reporting and insights
- Provide business and project related status reports to leadership
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Project Management Experience: 10+ years
- Personnel Management experience: 5+ years
- Broad business management background
- Experience managing large budgets and resource planning
- Experience building and managing a team and operation for scale; coaching and managerial presence
- Experience setting up business intelligence frameworks and demonstrating value in this area
- Experience producing written and presentation materials for an executive audience
- Must be able to read data, absorb large quantities and frequent changes to qualitative and quantitative information
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into a compelling narrative that concludes with set of results and recommendations
- Ability to understand and teach complex systems
