What You'll Do
This role is for a storyteller. You write stories. You seek out and discover stories. You pitch stories. You help encourage others to tell stories or find their own stories. You know what makes a good story, with a newsroom mindset. You bring the Level Ex story to life across channels and audiences.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- External Storytelling: Raise awareness and elevate our brand through strategic earned and owned storytelling. Manager PR agency to proactively build media relations
- Managing a thought leadership program that extends our reach and credibility: Serve as the lead for our CEO, Advisor and other executive team members thought leadership. Build a plan for events, content and other speaking engagements across executive team and Level Ex's community of healthcare advisors.
- Writing and marketing expertise Provide writing and editing support for marketing and communications activities across the business including all promotional materials, website content, and all other external communications as needed.
- Being a Level Ex brand guru: Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone.
What You'll Bring
Your Background
- 5+ years of overall experience in journalism, media, public relations, or corporate communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting executive and c-suite support experience (Advisors or KOLs a plus)
- Solid writing and editing experience and understanding of the healthcare landscape and industry
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising, business management, or related field
- Strong project management experience and ability to create and execute strategic plans
- Ability to manage stakeholders through various stages of content development to deliver high-quality work against competing priorities and varying timelines.
- Experience working in healthcare and startup environment

- You are a highly motivated self-starter who is willing and able to make decisions with less than perfect information.
