Manager, Applications

POSITION SUMMARY

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is looking for a skilled, experienced, and energetic Manager to join the Applications team.

This is an Oracle centric functional leadership position that is responsible for the day-to-day support of the system, as well as working with the business to enable and enhance the Oracle environment to meet the needs of the growing business. This individual would be responsible for module specific support/project analysis, as well as testing and peripheral expertise in such technologies as EDI, reporting and integration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of related systems to ensure the new ERP system integrates with related systems and meets requirements
• Identify, document, and manage business solutions
• Lead users and team members in collaboration sessions to drive towards the proper solution
• Oversee application process flows, data flows, technical specifications
• Support configurations, customization, reports and interfaces, testing and end user training
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
• Manage all production support and of new development of ERP and related applications
• Identify and anticipate customer requirements and needs and respond to and influence customer expectations
• Gather and analyze information and draw logical conclusions while identifying the root cause of problems and providing options for resolution

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Must have been a member of 1-2 large ERP implementation projects successfully
• 10+ years’ experience in IT industry
• 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Financials and SCM
• 2+ years’ experience in Financial Data Store/ Data Warehouse
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and to interact with both Business and IT partners to define, understand and evaluate business requirements and resolve production issues
• Ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects, and functions in a flexible environment

BONUS POINTS

• General understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Oracle database management

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or business specific field
