We are seeking a Manager, Ad Tech FP&A to join our team based in Palo Alto, working with our growing finance team. This individual will support our core Software Platform (AppDiscovery / MAX) business to help build near and long-term financial models and monitor ongoing financial performance. This is a broad role in scope, entailing weekly/monthly financial reporting with full P&L exposure and coverage. Qualified candidates will be self-starters, able to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic setting. You should be comfortable partnering with other business constituents and building relationships across departments. We are looking for candidates who are high energy and excited about building and being a part of a hard working team.
Responsibilities:
- Track weekly and monthly revenue & KPI trends
- Monitor and develop insights from key business drivers including impressions, installs, customer mix, pricing, and market share
- Assist in near and long-term planning cycles
- Assist in ongoing reporting to internal executives, Board meetings and ad hoc reporting
- Own the operating expense cost base for the Ad Tech organization including monthly budget vs. actual analysis ongoing budget / forecasting processes
- Support other critical Corporate finance deliverables including key metrics and assist in the preparation of materials for the quarterly earnings process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; preferably Finance, Banking, or similar fields
- 5+ years relevant work experience in FP&A or banking
- Previous experience in Ad Tech a must
- Excellent working knowledge of Ad Tech KPIs is critical
- Superior analytical and modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with dynamic expectations as well as ability to communicate key details to stakeholders and leaders succinctly.
- Must be able to work independently
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Must have skills: Advanced Excel / Powerpoint and Tableau or other BI reporting software
AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $129,000 - $205,000. Base compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
