Manager, Accounts Payable

Plantation, FL (HQ)

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable department's activities, including:

• Ensuring the complete and accurate processing of invoices, timely payment of vendors, and collaboration with other departments, both in the US and Globally.
• Management of the approval process, escalating as necessary to minimize delays
• Supervise the tracking and monitoring of the accounts payable aging.
• Provides accurate reports for month-end accruals for the financial close
• Monitors employee T&E reporting compliance and processing of payments
• Recommend and implement process improvements to improve efficiency
• Explore and lead innovative solutions and initiatives to eliminate highly manual tasks, and develop cross-training programs
• Compile, analyze, and report financial information to management
• Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place and documented to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected
• Support quarterly and annual audits
• Develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal and external customers through timely and accurate payments and communications.
• Responsible for the development of direct reports

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts payable management experience required
• Experience with SAP Accounts Payable required
• Experience with Concur preferred
• Experience in the technology industry preferred
• Detail-oriented, able to focus in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Expert communicator and analytical thinker; able to understand complex subjects, identify comparable data points, develop and report structured evaluation
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills required
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, required

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
