Job Title: Manager, Accounting
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, the Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s general ledger and financial accounting and reporting. This includes prepare and analyze accounting reports, consolidate subsidiary financial information, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This role will also oversee and direct maintenance of accounting system accounting and delivery of key financial management reports.

What you’ll do
- Manages a team of accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting
- Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
- Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
- Establishes and maintains internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
- Monitors, analyzes, and implements new accounting pronouncements.
- Provides accurate financial data, analysis, and reporting to FP&A, Tax, and other business teams to allow accurate decision making.
- Responsible for consolidated financial reporting to parent company.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Would require business travel.
What you’ll bring
- Six (6), or more, years of general accounting experience with at least one (1) as a manager of an accounting department required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Public Accounting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Strong understanding of internal controls.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

- Base salary range: $104000.00 - 156000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate’s qualifications and experience uniquely.
